-Infanticide is apparently as "bad" as selling pot.

Jessica Ferrar D-TX, seen here holding a Planned Parenthood Public Affairs Award, has recently drawn up a bill to be introduced to the Texas Legislature this week. This bill pushes to make infanticide worthy of a mere wrist-slap.

From Gateway Pundit:

It defines infanticide as:

A person commits an offense if the person willfully by an act or omission causes the death of a child to whom the person gave birth within the 12-month period preceding the child’s death

The bill says that infanticide should not be prosecuted as murder, though, as long as:

… at the time of the act or omission, the person’s judgment was impaired as a result of the effects of giving birth or the effects of lactation following the birth.

Infanticide would become a felony, punishable by no more than two years in prison, with a minimum of 180 days, and/or a fine of no more than $10,000.

The bill itself can be found here.

There it is. The last part about lapses in judgment due to the birthing process is what makes it acceptable to liberals I suppose. This is what happens when human life is so devalued through other means such as abortion, that even the killing of a infant becomes acceptable. This would mean that Medea's murders mere misdemeanors it seems.
