After watching this, let's take a little stroll to Feldt's website and see how she really feels... In late February it appears she had an interview with a Gender Studies (what?!) major from New York named Lee Taylor. When asked what she felt were important feminist issues today, Feldt responded with,
"Media justice for women is another area I’ve become involved with in recent years, because the portrayal of women as objects or idiots in the media is harmful, and the fact that women hold only 3% of the clout positions in media leadership is one appalling reason why."
The standing up for women rights and "gender equality" by the left apparently only applies to those who agree with them. Good thing they have such open minds. This woman cannot even live up to the standards she applies to everyone else.
Wow I cant believe this! This was truly fascinating! That idiot gloria feldt needs to at least represent a solid arguement. She kept saying we feminists "represent equality", but how is ripping on a womans views "representing equality"? Way to go, Laura!
ReplyDeleteIt's not too big a surprise to find that a prominent feminist can't abide a woman whose views are conservative or traditional. The silence of the feminists was deafening during Bill Clinton's marauding reign.
ReplyDeleteBut I admit my mouth fell open when she seemed to think her foul mouth would be acceptable to Laura. I think maybe it's Gloria who needs a brain transplant.
It's funny how the feminists seem to define "heart"; I bet some of them would SWEAR that they themselves have it. But that doesn't fit with their ability to piously ignore women who are viciously attacked, whether it's verbally by ugly Paris or physically AND verbally by ugly Bill.
