-Ahmadinejad's spiritual advisor says raping prisoners is permissable

Mesbah-Yazdi ahmadinejad
This is so warped and disgusting.

Israel National News
reported via Gateway Pundit:

Ahmadinejad's spiritual advisor told followers this week that raping prisoners is okay but wash your hands first...

But, if the prisoner enjoys it then please don't repeat the rape.

According to the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC), an independent Israeli intelligence analysis organization, Mesbah-Yazdi is considered Ahmadinejad's personal spiritual guide. A radical totalitarian even in Iranian terms, he holds messianic views, supports increasing Islamization, calls for violent suppression of domestic political opponents, and, according to the ITIC, "declared that obeying a president supported by the Supreme Leader was tantamount to obeying God."

At the Jamkaran gathering, Mesbah-Yazdi and Ahmadinejad answered questions about the rape and torture charges. The following text is from a transcript alleged by Iranian dissidents to be a series of questions and answers exchanged between the ayatollah and some of his supporters.

Asked if a confession obtained "by applying psychological, emotional and physical pressure" was "valid and considered credible according to Islam," Mesbah-Yazdi replied: "Getting a confession from any person who is against the Velayat-e Faqih ("Guardianship of the Islamic Jurists", or the regime of Iran's mullahs) is permissible under any condition." The ayatollah gave the identical answer when asked about confessions obtained through drugging the prisoner with opiates or addictive substances.

"Can an interrogator rape the prisoner in order to obtain a confession?" was the follow-up question posed to the Islamic cleric.

Mesbah-Yazdi answered: "The necessary precaution is for the interrogator to perform a ritual washing first and say prayers while raping the prisoner. If the prisoner is female, it is permissible to rape through the vagina or anus. It is better not to have a witness present. If it is a male prisoner, then it's acceptable for someone else to watch while the rape is committed."

This reply, and reports of the rape of teen male prisoners in Iranian jails, may have prompted the following question: "Is the rape of men and young boys considered sodomy?"

Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi: "No, because it is not consensual. Of course, if the prisoner is aroused and enjoys the rape, then caution must be taken not to repeat the rape."

Where are the people who complain about torture in Guantanamo now? Why don't they speak up against this? Where is the ACLU? Pathetic.

-Member of Ahmadinejad & Supreme Leader Khamenei's Iranian Basiji militia interviewed about raping young girls before their execution

Why are we reaching out to these people, this regime? This is Islam, this is Sharia law. The below article is disturbing.

From "'I wed Iranian girls before execution'," by Sabina Amidi in the Jerusalem Post:

In a shocking and unprecedented interview, directly exposing the inhumanity of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's religious regime in Iran, a serving member of the paramilitary Basiji militia has told this reporter of his role in suppressing opposition street protests in recent weeks.

He has also detailed aspects of his earlier service in the force, including his enforced participation in the rape of young Iranian girls prior to their execution.

Founded by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1979 as a "people's militia," the volunteer Basiji force is subordinate to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and intensely loyal to Khomeini's successor, Khamenei.

The Basiji member, who is married with children, spoke soon after his release by the Iranian authorities from detention. He had been held for the "crime" of having set free two Iranian teenagers - a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl - who had been arrested during the disturbances that have followed the disputed June presidential elections.

"There have been many other police and members of the security forces arrested because they have shown leniency toward the protesters out on the streets, or released them from custody without consulting our superiors," he said.

...

"Fourteen and 15-year old boys are given so much power, which I am sorry to say they have abused," he said. "These kids do anything they please - forcing people to empty out their wallets, taking whatever they want from stores without paying, and touching young women inappropriately. The girls are so frightened that they remain quiet and let them do what they want."

These youngsters, and other "plainclothes vigilantes," were committing most of the crimes in the names of the regime, he said.

Asked about his own role in the brutal crackdowns on the protesters, whether he had been beaten demonstrators and whether he regretted his actions, he answered evasively.

"I did not attack any of the rioters - and even if I had, it is my duty to follow orders," he began. "I don't have any regrets," he went on, "except for when I worked as a prison guard during my adolescence." [...]

He said he had been a highly regarded member of the force, and had so "impressed my superiors" that, at 18, "I was given the 'honor' to temporarily marry young girls before they were sentenced to death."

In the Islamic Republic it is illegal to execute a young woman, regardless of her crime, if she is a virgin, he explained. Therefore a "wedding" ceremony is conducted the night before the execution: The young girl is forced to have sexual intercourse with a prison guard - essentially raped by her "husband."

"I regret that, even though the marriages were legal," he said.

Why the regret, if the marriages were "legal?"

"Because," he went on, "I could tell that the girls were more afraid of their 'wedding' night than of the execution that awaited them in the morning. And they would always fight back, so we would have to put sleeping pills in their food. By morning the girls would have an empty expression; it seemed like they were ready or wanted to die.

"I remember hearing them cry and scream after [the rape] was over," he said. "I will never forget how this one girl clawed at her own face and neck with her finger nails afterwards. She had deep scratches all over her."

Returning to the events of the last few weeks, and his decision to set free the two teenage detainees, he said he "honestly" did not know why he had released them, a decision that led to his own arrest, "but I think it was because they were so young. They looked like children and I knew what would happen to them if they weren't released."

He said that while a man is deemed "responsible for his own actions at 13, for a woman it is 9," and that it was freeing the 15-year-old girl that "really got me in trouble. ..."

-Obama Administration looking to block U.N. Sanctions against Iran and Ahmadinejad

obama hope change montage bad

The sources cited in this article are vague and dubious, but there's no denying that this would not be unexpected.

From Haaretz via JihadWatch

The United States is opposed to enacting a new set of financial sanctions against Iran that are due to be discussed in the G8 summit next week, diplomatic officials in New York reported Friday.

According to officials, sanctions against Iran are expected to top the G8's agenda. Sources are also predicting a pointed debate between the heads of the industrialized nations over an appropriate response to Iranian authorities' suppression of reformist demonstrations in Iran led by Mir Hossein Mousavi and other Iranian opposition leaders....

However, diplomatic sources in New York reported that American officials are working behind the scenes to prevent new sanctions from being imposed against Iran.

U.S. officials claimed that a tough stance toward Iran could backfire, bringing about an opposite outcome to that desired by those who support such measures.

The Obama administration, according to the diplomatic sources, has discarded the notion of direct talks with Iran. However, the United States is still interested in re-engaging Iran through the renewed discussion of its nuclear program through the six permanent United Nations Security Council members.

American officials expressed concern that a decision to enact harsh steps against Iran during the G8 meeting could badly hurt the prospect of Tehran agreeing to renew negotiations with the permanent Security Council members....

-North Korea test fires two more missiles

kim jong il ugly

Poor Obama sure has his hands full. Be careful what you wish for. Not so easy is it Messiah? The angry little man over in North Korea is still trying to provoke those who don't react. Think about it.

From Reuters:

North Korea test-fired two short-range missiles on Thursday, further stoking tension in the region that was already high due to Pyongyang's nuclear test and threats to boost its nuclear arsenal in response to U.N. sanctions.

North Korea fired two surface-to-ship missiles off its east coast that flew about 100 km (60 miles) and splashed into the sea, a South Korean defense official said.

A South Korean daily said that the secretive North may also test fire mid-range missiles in a matter of days.

-Iran Revolution's supporters of the opposition reportedly hanged

iran revolution hanged hangings ahmadinejad

"I've made it clear that the United States respects the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is not interfering with Iran's affairs." Obama on the day before yesterday

From the Jerusalem Post via Atlas Shrugs:

As the Iranian authorities warned the opposition on Tuesday that they would tolerate no further protests over the disputed June 12 presidential elections, a report emerged of the hangings of six supporters of defeated candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi.

Speaking after Iran's top legislative body upheld the election victory of incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, sources in Iran told this reporter in a telephone interview that the hangings took place in the holy city of Mashhad on Monday. There was no independent confirmation of the report.

Underlining the climate of fear among direct and even indirect supporters of Mousavi's campaign for the election to be annulled, the sources also reported that a prominent cleric gave a speech to opposition protesters in Teheran earlier this week in which he publicly acknowledged that the very act of speaking at the gathering would likely cost him his life.

On Monday, witnesses said thousands of policemen and Basij militiamen carrying batons were deployed in Teheran's main squares to prevent any recurrence of the opposition protests. Drivers who so much as shouted "Allahu Akbar" or beeped their horns had their windows smashed by the Basiji and riot police.

Women police, better known as the Sisters of Zeynab, are also now out in force, the witnesses said.

-Ahmadinejad Tells Obama Not to Interfere in Iran

ahmadinejad quote pointing obama

From Fox News:

Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on President Obama on Thursday not to interfere in Iranian affairs after the U.S. president said he was "appalled and outraged" by post-election violence, a news agency reported.

"Mr. Obama made a mistake to say those things ... our question is why he fell into this trap and said things that previously (former U.S. President George W.) Bush used to say," the semi-official Fars News Agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.

"Do you want to speak (with Iran) with this tone? If that is your stance then what is left to talk about," said Ahmadinejad. "I hope you avoid interfering in Iran's affairs and express your regret in a way that the Iranian nation is informed of it."

Are you kidding me? He's going to sit there and kill protestors, and expect the (former) leader of the free world not to say anything? Besides what kind of meddling is he doing? It sure seems that Obama is going out of his way to avoid the situation in its entirety, there was no reason for Ahmadinejad to say anything at all.

-Obama says Iran's Fourth of July invite still on the table despite its killing of citizens

obama invites iran ahmadinejad fourth of july

From Google News:

The United States said Monday its invitations were still standing for Iranian diplomats to attend July 4 celebrations at US embassies despite the crackdown on opposition supporters. President Barack Obama's administration said earlier this month it would invite Iran to US embassy barbecues for the national holiday for the first time since the two nations severed relations following the 1979 Islamic revolution.

"There's no thought to rescinding the invitations to Iranian diplomats," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly told reporters.

-19 year old protestor in Iran shot and killed; family charged "bullet fee"

From the Wall Street Journal:

Minutes before, an ambulance had arrived from Tehran's morgue carrying the body of their only son, 19-year-old Kaveh Alipour.

On Saturday, amid the most violent clashes between security forces and protesters, Mr. Alipour was shot in the head as he stood at an intersection in downtown Tehran. He was returning from acting class and a week shy of becoming a groom, his family said.

The details of his death remain unclear. He had been alone. Neighbors and relatives think that he got trapped in the crossfire. He wasn't politically active and hadn't taken part in the turmoil that has rocked Iran for over a week, they said.

"He was a very polite, shy young man," said Mohamad, a neighbor who has known him since childhood.

When Mr. Alipour didn't return home that night, his parents began to worry. All day, they had heard gunshots ringing in the distance. His father, Yousef, first called his fiancée and friends. No one had heard from him.

At the crack of dawn, his father began searching at police stations, then hospitals and then the morgue.

Upon learning of his son's death, the elder Mr. Alipour was told the family had to pay an equivalent of $3,000 as a "bullet fee"—a fee for the bullet used by security forces—before taking the body back, relatives said.

Mr. Alipour told officials that his entire possessions wouldn't amount to $3,000, arguing they should waive the fee because he is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war. According to relatives, morgue officials finally agreed, but demanded that the family do no funeral or burial in Tehran. Kaveh Alipour's body was quietly transported to the city of Rasht, where there is family.

-Iran flaunts its power; Obama continues to ignore it

If we don't consider Iran a legitimate threat to our allies and interests in the Middle East, then we need to open our eyes. Recently Iran let everyone know that in case of aggression on the part of Israel it would only take eleven days for Iran to destroy them:

Then they pull this stunt:

From FoxNews:

U.S. government officials are confirming that Iran launched a missile Wednesday.

One official says it appears the test was a success -- that is, that Tehran succeeded in launching a medium-range missile.

A second official said only that the U.S. was able to detect the launch and was looking further into details. They both spoke on condition of anonymity Wednesday because they were not authorized to speak on the record.

Tehran says it test-fired a new advanced missile with a range of about 1,200 miles, capable of reaching Israel and U.S. Mideast bases.

-Assorted Ahmadinejad quotes on Israel, Nuclear Weapons, and the Holocaust

In light of President Obama's recently announced Middle East outreach speech to the Muslim community in June, I present to you a reminder of Iran and President Obama's feelings towards Iran and the Muslim world in general." Here is a video addressing the leaders and people of Iran, seeking "honest engagement that is grounded in mutual respect" as Dear Leader so eloquently put it.

Here are some quotes from the leader of Iran whom Obama addressed, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Do you think honest engagement and mutual respect can possibly be achieved with a person like this?

*"We don't shy away from declaring that Islam is ready to rule the world."

* "The wave of the Islamist revolution will soon reach the entire world."

* "Soon Islam will become the dominating force in the world, occupying first place in the number of followers amongst all other religions."

* "Is there a craft more beautiful, more sublime, more divine, than the craft of giving yourself to martyrdom and becoming holy? Do not doubt, Allah will prevail, and Islam will conquer mountain tops of the entire world."

* "What is important is that they have shown the way to martyrdom which we must follow.'' [President Ahmadinejad's comments on an aircraft crash in Tehran that killed 108 people in December 2005].

* Ahmadinejad praises Iran for being able to recruit thousands of suicide bombers a day. Iranian President Ahmadinejad praised his country's ability to recruit "hundreds of suicide bombers a day," saying "suicide is an invincible weapon. Suicide bombers in this land showed us the way, and they enlighten our future. The will to commit suicide is one of the best ways of life."

*"This regime (Israel) will one day disappear."

*"The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm.

*Israel is doomed to be "wiped from the map" in "a war of destiny."

* Ahmadinejad said that "the countdown for the destruction of Israel" has begun.

* Zionists are "the personification of Satan."

* "Them (Whites) invented the myth of the massacre of the Jews and placed it above Allah, religions and prophets."

* "Iran does not give a damn about resolutions."

* "Our enemies should know that they are unable to even slightly hurt our nation and they cannot create the tiniest obstacle on its glorious and progressive way."

-Majority of Israelies Support a Strike Against Iran

With how often Iran threatens Israel with its nuclear capabilities, it is well known that a preemptive strike on Iran by Israel has always been a possibility, and it seems that the Israeli people are aware of this as well. in a survey taken by Bar-Ilan University's BESA center and the ADL. 66 percent of the responders said they would support military action if diplomatic action failed (it has), while of that number another 75 percent said they would support it even if the Obama administration was opposed.
