-UN's ridiculous climate change summit in Copenhagen opens with ridiculous video

Are you kidding me? If this isn't fear mongering and propaganda, I don't know what is.

This is basically 2012 shortened down to five minutes... How long are we going to blind ourselves to this garbage, and continue to ignore facts?\

-Joy Behar: Wah Wah Racism blah blah Black Friday whine Great White Guilt etc.

The Great White Guilt strikes again! At least Whoopi makes the comment at the end that "no one would have thought of that if you hadn't said it JOY." Hmm... Whoopi Goldberg displaying common sense? Maybe this is the end of the world...

But alas, it wasn't meant to be... Whoopi went back to her usually whining about how white people have kept her down.

Goldberg: Oh, hello and welcome to ‘The View.’ Today is Black Friday, all day long. And I’m going to stay black all day because of it.

Behar: Isn’t it a little racist to call it Black Friday?

Goldberg: Well, I would have called it African American Friday, but that’s taking something away from it.

Behar: But there’s a negative connotation to it? Or does it mean something else?

Goldberg: No, it’s like when you make all the money – you’re in the black.

Behar: So it’s positive?

Goldberg: Yeah. It’s in the black, so it’s a huge great thing.

Behar: A lot of times, like blackmail is negative, black sheep.

Goldberg: Black people.

Behar: No, not black people.

Goldberg: But it used to be, it used to be.

So very profound Whoopi!

And here we see Joy making up for the evils of the white race by being cordial to an African-American:

-Fellow Muslim won't condemn Nidal Malik Hasan; has "no pity" for Fort Hood victims

The BBC's Gavin Lee paid a little visit to the Islamic mosque that Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Malik Hasan frequented, and here is what "Duane"had to say on the matter. Prepare to be shocked. Or not if you're as jaded as we are.

Here's the transcript:

Duane: I’m not going to condemn him for what he did. I don’t know why he did it. I will not, absolutely not, condemn him for what he had done though. If he had done it for selfish reasons I still will not condemn him. He’s my brother in the end. I will never condemn him.

Lee: There might be a lot of people shocked to hear you say that.

Duane: Well, that’s the way it is. I don’t speak for the community here but me personally I will not condemn him.

Lee: What are your thoughts towards those that were victims in this?

Duane: They were, in the end, they were troops who were going to Afghanistan and Iraq to kill Muslims. I honestly have no pity for them. It’s just like the majority of the people that will hear this, after five or six minutes they’ll be shocked, after that they’ll forget about them and go on their day.

-Guest Post: The State of the Nation

I am officially disgusted with what are country is becoming.

A man from Home Depot was fired for wearing a pin that said “God Bless America.” Now how is that so offensive to atheists and liberals that this man had to be fired? Did he really impose his religious views so predominantly that it insulted shoppers? This is similar to the woman who was told to remove her American Flag from her window when her son was serving overseas. Why do we persecute those who are just living out their lives as Christians or as patriots?

Christians are the most persecuted people in our country today. It is not the Muslims or the Jews. Why is it that stores can’t say “Merry Christmas” or sell “Christmas Trees.” I am fed up with these liberals and I will not have my freedoms oppressed because they are afraid that it might offend some Muslim or atheist. They have the freedom to do, say and protest anything there heart desires, but when a conservative or Christian expresses their beliefs they are instantly ridiculed and attacked for simply expressing a different view. I am not insensitive to others views, I just have an opinion of my own.

It comes down to the double standard and political correctness our society has today.

A lady can’t hang a flag to show support for her country and son, but anti-war liberals can protest at soldier’s funerals and show truly hateful signs.

A man can’t wear a pin that says “God Bless America”, but atheists can hang posters all over New York City saying A million New Yorkers Do Fine without God…Are You.”

http://gothamist.com/attachments/nyc_arts_john/101909goodwogod.jpgI

One that I find very disrespectful are the posters that say “What goes around comes around.” Why is okay for these people to blatantly disrespect the men and women who put their lives on the line day in and day out for them just to be ridiculed by the people they are protecting?

http://theinspirationroom.com/daily/design/2009/5/what-goes-around-rifle-poster.jpg

This is the country we live in today….and I am disgusted.

I will not shy away from my faith or my conservative beliefs because it might offend some liberal, atheist, or Muslim. They offend me, my fellow Marines, and my country every day with hate speech and protests of their own. I will not stand for this double standard any longer.

GOD BLESS AMERICA. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS. GOD BLESS OUR FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM AND RADICAL ISLAM.

-DailyKos readers weigh in on the Fort Hood shootings

via Stop The ACLU:

  • Molotov: idiots. you teach people to kill without remorse, then act surprised when they do

  • primarydoc: and we have to consider the selective disclosure/spin from the military if it turns out that the reason for the shooting might undermine our “noble” wars, as in the case of Pat Tillman or Jessica Lynch

  • Alien Abductee: Maybe he’s just seen too much destruction of the mental health of his fellow soldiers and finally snapped himself.

  • olo: Maybe they just put the gun in his hand because be looks like a brown terror monger, is named Hasan (sounds & looks similar to Hussein) — and was the most convenient of the dozen bodies to blame this shit on.)

  • ferralike: It appears through the latest reporting on MSNBC that the shooter who was killed, Army Maj Malik Nadal Hasan, was possibly enraged about being shipped over to Iraq per Chris Matthews (at ~ 5:55 est). So it sounds as if the second possibility I raised was more correct. However, this guy could have already served multiple tours and this could still be a PTSD related incident. Who knows?

I actually feel for this guy if he was pushed to go this far that he flipped out and killed 12 and injured 31 (the number at this moment.) I hate that he did this and there are so many grieving and worried families but I doubt this was driven because he simply did not want to go over there on his first tour.

If this is true, this is indicative of a much larger disaster imminently waiting to happen for many, many other soldiers about to be deployed. We can’t keep this up sending these soldiers over time after time and expecting them to come back without being mentally and emotionally affected. This is very very tragic.

  • Julia Grey: I personally hope very much that he isn’t black. He’d be made out as an Obama confederate, part of the underground preparations for the coup, a guy who was so excited about destroying America that he started too early, yadda yadda. It’s already bad enough that he has an Arabic name.

  • Lying eyes: Good thing Bush is no longer in charge…. continued… True. But I was thinking if this guy has an Arabic name and is a muslim, Bush would use the tragedy to attack Iran. Or some convenient country.

  • MillieNeon: I just hope this doesn’t come with a huge Muslim backlash, or kick Muslims out of the military, etc.

How very say for the people who lost their lives, their families, for the moderate Muslim who already have so much difficulty in this country right now.

And my heart really goes out to all the soldiers with PTSD. They need much more support and treatment. It’s immoral to bring people back from war and leave them in psychological torture chambers.

Also, I think we should re-examine soldier training. They are taught to de-humanize the enemy so they can kill easier. How do you “undo” that? What are we doing to these poorsoldiers?

  • SantaFeMarie: Why is it “surely just coincidence” that people in Texas commit violent homicides?

  • The Navigator: Let’s all hope it’s not wingers or the radical right that did this, but rather just a few disturbed soldiers.

  • o the umanity: I still can’t figure out what happened. When I was a little girl, it was an honor to serve. My father and all my brothers did. So did my uncles and one of my grandfathers.

And then came ‘Nam, and it’s been all downhill since

  • -Malik Nadal Hasan murders twelve soldiers at Fort Hood, media ignores his name

malik nadal hasan fort hood shooter

    From Fox News:

A military doctor who feared an impending war deployment is believed to be the gunman behind a shooting rampage Thursday afternoon at the Army's Fort Hood in Texas that killed 11 and wounded 31 before the gunman was fatally shot.

Two soldiers were taken into custoy [sic] as possible suspects, Lt. Gen. Bob Cone told reporters Thursday evening, though the pair later were released and it isn't clear whether they they were involved in the violence.

Authorities have not identified the gunman publicly, but official sources have named Major Malik Nadal Hasan, a psychiatrist who reportedly didn't believe in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and wanted out of the military before he was set to be deployed overseas.

And since you can't put it much more eloquently than they did, here is how the gentlemen at I Hate the Media evaluated the media situation:

We hear that a Major Malik Nadal Hasan has murdered, execution-style, twelve soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas. Political correctness be damned. To us, the shooter doesn’t sound Baptist, doesn’t sound Catholic, doesn’t sound Jewish, doesn’t sound Hindu, doesn’t sound Buddhist. What does that leave? We wonder. But, we do recall the story of the founder of the Muslim-American BridgesTV network that beheaded his wife in Buffalo, New York. His name? Muzzammil Hassan.

It should be very, very interesting to see how this plays out.

UPDATE: Previous reports on Hasan being killed at the scene are incorrect; he is in stable condition at a local hospital.

-Planned Parenthood director quits after watching an abortion ultrasound

    via Hot Air:

After eight years working at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Bryan, Texas, including two years as its director, Abby Johnson suddenly decided that she could no longer participate in abortions. What pushed Johnson out was both an ultrasound of an abortion and a renewed emphasis on the cash-generating business in the failing economy. After being told to deemphasize prevention and market for abortions, Johnson finally had enough:

    From KTBX College Station:

According to Johnson, the non-profit was struggling under the weight of a tough economy, and changing it’s business model from one that pushed prevention, to one that focused on abortion.

“It seemed like maybe that’s not what a lot of people were believing any more because that’s not where the money was. The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that,” said Johnson.

Johnson said she was told to bring in more women who wanted abortions, something the Episcopalian church goer recently became convicted about. …

Johnson now supports the Coalition For Life, the pro-life group with a building down the street from Planned Parenthood. Coalition volunteers can regularly be seen praying on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood. Johnson has been meeting with the coalition’s executive director, Shawn Carney, and has prayed with volunteers outside Planned Parenthood.

-Taliban attacks United Nations in Kabul

    taliban attack united nations kabul
    From Fox News:

KABUL — Gunmen with automatic weapons and homicide vests stormed a guest house used by U.N. staff in the heart of the Afghan capital early Wednesday, killing at least 10 people including six U.N. staff, officials said. A Taliban spokesman claimed responsibility, saying it was meant as an assault on the upcoming presidential election.

Heavy gunfire reverberated through the streets shortly after dawn and a large plume of smoke rose over the city following the attack on the hostel in the Shar-e-Naw district. Kabul police chief Abdul Rahman Rahman said seven people were killed, including some attackers.

U.N. spokesman Adrian Edwards confirmed that six U.N. staff were among the dead. He said 20 U.N. staff were living at the guest house, some of them known to be registered there but he was unsure whether all were there at the time of the attack.

It will sure be interesting to hear the UN make excuses for terrorists this time, when it is their own.
